We understand that due to the current situation of the Coronavirus pandemic, many of our delegates may not be able to attend our live event, so this H.E.A.T International Symposium will also be available as an ONLINE event, held over Zoom webinar.

 

We will be providing streaming access to virtual attendees, all our speaker presentations, and downloadable handouts, just as you would receive by being amongst our in-person audience at the live event. 

 

Virtual attendees will also be able to ask questions in our live chat and have access to all presentation recordings for future reference for up to 6 months after the event.

Dr. Patana Teng-umnuay

Dr. Patana Teng-umnuay received his medical degree with first-class honors from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand in 1986 and also board-certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology in 1990 and 1992.

Then, he went to study at the University of Florida in the field of Molecular Cell Biology where he earned his Ph.D. degree in 1998. 


Dr. Teng-umnuay is one of the well-known lecturers on the subjects of nutraceutical supplements,

stem cell biology, and Anti-aging medicine. He serves as an assistant professor of the Anti-aging and regenerative program of Dhurakij Pundit University.

 

In addition, he works as a consulting physician for "S Medical Clinic" and Phyathai 2 Hospital, Thailand. Currently, he is the CEO of Health Education & Academics (Thailand) Co. Ltd.

Dr. Nicole Bijlisma

Dr. Nicole Bijlisma is a former naturopath and acupuncturist, bestselling author of Healthy Home Healthy Family, has published in peer-reviewed journals, a past columnist for Body+Soul newspaper, and has appeared on every major television network to discuss electromagnetic fields, mold, and chemicals.

 

Nicole lectures at medical conferences in Australia and abroad on environmental medicine is the founder of the Building Biology industry in Australia and the principal of the Australian College of Environmental Studies (RTO 21740).

 

Nicole is currently completing her Ph.D. on the impact of wireless technologies on brain and sleep function at RMIT University.

Dr. Pakpilai Thavisin

Dr. Pakpilai Thavisin is a certified medical professional in Aesthetic and Anti-aging Medicine. She has had extensive experience both within Thailand and internationally. Dr. Pakpilai is now the Medical Director of the S Medical Clinic.

 

She was the founder and the President of the S Medical Spa, the multi-awards winning rejuvenation center in Bangkok (2005-2013). She is a regular speaker at various congresses such as AMWC, Aesthetic Asia, ICAD, ICAAM, and IMCAS as well as a regular guest on many TV programs in Thailand including "The Doctors" (H+ Channel), "Health Society" (Channel 9).

Dr. Pakpilai was on the board committee of the Thai Aesthetic Dermatology and Surgery Association (2009-2012), World MediSpa Association, and World Society of Anti-aging Medicine. She is a well-known columnist in Thailand for several magazines including Marie Claire, Slimming, Ceci, Grazia, and an author of 6 pocketbooks.

Dr. Lenny Da Costa

Dr. Lenny Da Costa is a Consultant Geriatrician, Preventive Cardiologist, and Anti-Aging specialist. He did his basic MBBS from The Goa Medical College and completed his specialization in Geriatric Medicine from the M.S. Ramaiha Medical College, Bangalore.

 

He has further undergone training in the practice of Anti-aging and Preventive Cardiology. He is certified by the International Board of Clinical Metal Toxicology USA as an FCMT and trained to administer chelation therapy.

 

He has also been certified by the Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine of India in the field of Anti-Aging Medicine and in the use of Bio-identical Hormone Replacement Therapy. He has further trained in the use of Ozone Therapy under the auspices of the Indian Ozone Society and The Ozone Forum of India

Craig Burton is a practicing Clinical and Sports Nutritionist with over 20 years’ experience as a health practitioner. He holds an array of qualifications in nutrition, as well as in health, fitness, mental, and lifestyle coaching.

 

He attained a B.A. in Applied Science (Sports Science and Psychology) from Edith Cowan University, Perth, Australia along with Ohio State University in the United States. Craig went on to certify as a Sports Nutritionist, later Clinical Nutritionist and also holds accreditation as a Performance Enhancement Specialist from the National Academy of Sports Medicine in the United States.

 

Craig is passionate about transforming his clients not only physically but also, mentally and is a certified ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) Coach

Dr. Mart Maiprasert is an accomplished aesthetic specialist with more than 10 years of experience. His success has come from the application of anti-aging science into his work in the field of aesthetic medicine and cosmetic surgery.

 

Currently, Dr. Maiprasert owns a private practice at S-Mart Clinic, Bangkok, Thailand, and also serves as the Program Director of Master's Degree of Science in Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine at Dhurakit Pundit University.

Dr. Thomas Lodi

Medicine practitioner since 1986, Dr. Lodi graduated from the University of Hawaii, School of Medicine in 1985 and served as visiting Clinical Fellow at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in NYC where he also underwent training in Internal Medicine. From 1991 to 1996, Dr. Lodi was Clinical Instructor of Medicine at the University of Hawaii, School of Medicine. 

Dr. Lodi worked for 10 years as an internal medicine specialist, urgent care physician, and intensivist in ICU and CCU departments. In his search for more effective and less toxic therapies, he trained around the world and through specific training and extensive experience has narrowed his scope of practice to Integrative Oncology.

Licensed as an Allopathic MD in the State of New York and as Homeopathic MD(H) in the State of Arizona, Dr. Lodi completed Fellowships in Integrative Cancer Therapies and in Anti-Aging, Regenerative & Functional Medicine and is an instructor in Insulin Potentiation Therapy and certified in oxidative and chelation therapies.

Dr. Lodi lectures and consults in Integrative Cancer Therapies, Nutrition and Psychological & Spiritual Hygiene in Asia, Europe, and the USA. Dr. Krit Pongpirul

Dr. Krit Pongpirul received his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand, a Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) in health policy and management from Harvard University, and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in health services and systems research from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, USA.

 

Currently, he is a faculty member of the Department of Preventive and Social Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University, and adjunct faculty of the Department of International Health, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, USA.

He is also a Research & Quality Counselor at Bumrungrad International Hospital, Thailand.

 

Supported by the Thailand Research Fund, he has led the team of Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Science, and Faculty of Veterinary Science of Chulalongkorn and Mahidol Universities to compare Microbiome profiles of individuals with and without fat problems.

Dr. Sasha High

Dr. Sasha High is Medical Director of the High Metabolic Clinic. She was born and raised in Ottawa, Canada. She first undertook a Bachelor of Sciences from the University of Ottawa then completed her medical doctorate (MD) and Internal Medicine residency (FRCPC) at the University of Toronto. She served as Chief Medical Resident at Mount Sinai Hospital in her final year of residency. Dr. High is certified as an American Board of Obesity Medicine (ABOM) diplomate. She also holds a Lecturer appointment with the University of Toronto.

Dr. High has a special interest in nutrition and has taken several courses through the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine and The Noakes Foundation. She is experienced in treating metabolic diseases rooted in insulin resistance using the low carb high fat (LCHF) diet, ketogenic diet, and intermittent fasting.

Dr. High has undertaken mentorship and additional training in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and acceptance commitment therapy (ACT) to help patients with sustained lifestyle changes. She has been practicing bariatric medicine since 2013, helping patients manage the disease of obesity and associated conditions. She is passionate about seeing people live their healthiest lives.

Dr. High is a wife and mother of three young children. In her spare time, she enjoys singing, running and kitesurfing with her husband.
